Camp Volunteer Opportunities Available

The camp is designed for Volunteer Compassion Camp Counselors as much as it is designed for the Compassion Camp Participants! You’ll interact with Campers on a 1:1 basis and get to know your camp buddy! Everyone learns compassion skills, tools for self regulation, mental health and wellness techniques.

Can I sign up for both Summer Camps?
Yes of course! The curriculum is different each month and will be rewarding for your children.

Do you take ESA (Empowerment Scholarship Account)?
Yes we do! Call (520-820-6275) or email ( the Healing Center to enroll your child in Camp. We will provide an invoice so you can submit it to the ESA for approval.

Do you provide Scholarships or Financial Assistance?
Yes we do! You can apply for a financial scholarship here.

Do you feed the children in camp?
No, we do not provide meals or snacks, and we’re unable to feed campers during camp sessions.

Is this camp designed for kids that are neurotypical, or for kids with disabilities/neurodivergent?
Our Camps are for everyone! All of our camp programming is designed to be rewarding for kids of any and all abilities. Kids also learn compassion skills by connecting and building relationships with children who are different from themselves.

Can I enroll for just 1 week of camp?
Camp is in 2 week increments, but you are able to purchase a 2 week camp session and only attend 1 week. If you’re planning on doing this, please just let us know!

Who are your Camp Instructors?
All of our Instructors are local educators who are highly trained in a variety of fields, including social-emotional learning and wellness skills and activities.

Can you administer medication to kids?
Unfortunately we are not currently able to administer medication to children. We may be able to do this in the future.
